Open Wide: Tooth School Inside is an interesting little animated feature from 2006. The film centers around Dr. Flossman, voiced by McKean, who takes on the quirky task of educating the 32 teeth in a way that’s both fun and somewhat surreal. The animation style, while not groundbreaking, has a certain charm that feels almost nostalgic. The pacing is brisk, keeping the kids engaged, but there’s also a sort of playful absurdity that appeals to adults too. It tackles themes of dental hygiene and self-care, which is a unique approach for an animated film. The performances, especially McKean's, lend a quirky personality to the characters. It’s a niche offering for collectors who appreciate educational content wrapped in an entertaining package.
