John Rico, our lead, isn’t your typical assassin; he’s layered, and I think they really capture that inner conflict as he grapples with the fallout of his choices. The pacing is pretty spot-on, with enough action to keep you engaged, but it also allows for some quieter moments to breathe. The practical effects are decent, and they give it a bit of an old-school feel, which I appreciate. The underground world they explore isn’t exactly new, but there's something distinct about how they tackle it here.
