Ordinary Days is this neat little indie film that really takes its time to delve into the lives of its characters. The triptych format gives you a chance to see how different people grapple with their issues, which is quite refreshing. It’s not flashy, but the raw performances lend a credibility to the emotional weight. You can sense the atmosphere is heavy but not oppressive, allowing moments of quiet reflection. The pacing feels deliberate, almost meditative at times, which can be a bit off-putting if you’re looking for something more dynamic. But that’s part of its charm, I suppose. It’s the kind of film that stays with you, quietly lingering in your thoughts long after the credits roll.
