Fosco, the 300-year-old vampire, is quite the character, living it up in his mansion with his wife and son. The atmosphere is thick with decadence and that whole orgy vibe is everywhere – it's almost overwhelming. But then, Fauna and Micah crash the party, and the whole thing just spins out of control. The pacing is interesting, especially as it shifts from hedonism to horror. Practical effects here are something else; they don't shy away from the gruesome bits.
