So, 'Othello - Edited with Lies' is this interesting take on the classic story, reimagined in a corporate setting. The film captures a very tense atmosphere, with Othello Schwarz as this power player just spiraling down as he grapples with betrayal. I found the pacing a bit uneven at times, but it really adds to the sense of unease - you’re sort of always waiting for the next shoe to drop. The performances are pretty solid; especially the assistant Iara, who brings this underlying tension to her interactions. The way they weave in tech elements, like emails and digital communication, feels fresh but also kind of unsettling. It’s a unique spin, that’s for sure, and worth checking out for anyone interested in modern adaptations of classic themes.
