Pact of Vengeance brings us into the gritty world of Zian, a retired special forces commander played by Leo Fong. He’s swapped the battlefield for an auto body shop, but the peace doesn’t last long. The inner city he calls home is under siege by the Black Roses, a gang that’s all about intimidation and control. The atmosphere is thick with tension, as Zian’s refusal to pay them off sets the stage for a classic clash. You can feel the weight of his past, and Fong’s performance carries a lot of this. The pacing builds nicely, drawing you into the unfolding drama while still delivering some decent action. It's not groundbreaking, but the practical effects add a layer of grit that complements the story.
