So, Pareidolia is this intriguing little horror piece from 2023. It's got this hypnotic vibe, where you start off watching these psychedelic blobs, and then, out of nowhere, faces and strange images just start popping up. The atmosphere really leans into that unsettling quality, like you're drifting through some dream or nightmare. There’s a nice balance of pacing; it’s slow but deliberate, letting the visuals wash over you. The practical effects are pretty cool too, I think they manage to evoke a sense of dread without heavy reliance on CGI. It's distinctive for how it plays with perception and invites the viewer to confront their own interpretations. Worth checking out for the experience alone, really.
