Passing Rain is this intriguing little drama that weaves together the lives of some truly colorful characters. You've got a hustler in a casino, two prostitutes trying to survive, and a good husband caught in the middle of it all. The pacing has this almost languid feel, but it captures the tension of their lives beautifully. The themes of love and greed run deep, which is pretty common, but here they feel really raw. The performances are quite compelling, especially the clown, who adds a layer of surrealism to the gritty atmosphere. It’s the kind of film that sticks with you, not because of flashy effects but because of its unvarnished look at desperation and connection.
