So, Pecoross' Mother and Her Days is an interesting watch. It’s this blend of comedy and drama that feels quite authentic. Yuichi, the main character, has this laid-back vibe, which kind of contrasts sharply with the seriousness of his mother’s dementia. The performances are pretty solid; you can really feel the depth in Mitsue’s character, played by Harue Akagi. It’s not all heavy, though; there’s a lot of humor that comes from their interactions, almost like a slice-of-life approach. The pacing feels natural, almost like you're just hanging out with them. The film doesn’t shy away from the reality of aging and memory loss, but it also celebrates the little moments that make life worthwhile, you know?
