So, 'Pendragon - And Now Everybody To The Stage' is this interesting mix of music and performance. You’ve got Nick Barrett up front with his vocals and guitar, and he has this way of drawing you in. Clive Nolan on keyboards adds layers that really fill out the sound. The rhythm section is solid with Peter Gee on bass and Joe Crabtree on drums, creating a nice drive that keeps things moving. The atmosphere is quite vibrant, almost theatrical, which fits the whole rock-opera vibe they’re going for. It captures the essence of live music, not overly polished, but raw and engaging. The pacing ebbs and flows, giving you those moments to breathe between the more intense sections. It’s distinct in how it melds the concert experience with storytelling, and that right there is something not every music film manages to do.
Great representation of early 2000s progressive rock scene.Captures live concert energy well.Interesting interplay between musicians.
