So, 'Pentagram' is an interesting little horror flick from 2019 that plays with the classic trope of isolation. You have this group of teens, and they’re pretty standard archetypes, but what’s cool is how they find themselves literally trapped in a pentagram. The atmosphere is dense, almost claustrophobic. The candlelit scenes create this eerie glow that’s both beautiful and unsettling. The pacing, while it drags a bit in spots, builds tension effectively. The real standout might be the practical effects. There's something raw and tangible about them that CGI often misses. Performances? They’re decent enough for the genre, but it’s the overall vibe that sticks. It feels very much like a late-night horror binge kind of movie.
