So, this is the second short film from Trauma Group's Spider-Man series, released in '96. It’s kind of interesting because it leans more into the spirit of the comics compared to their first effort in '93. The tone feels lighter, more humorous, which is a nice change, although it still has a few darker moments that remind you this is Spider-Man we're dealing with. The pacing is pretty brisk, which matches the short format well. They worked with a really limited budget, but honestly, the practical effects hold up decently. The performances are a mixed bag, but there’s a certain charm in their earnestness that gives it its own flavor. It’s worth a look if you’re into the more obscure adaptations of beloved heroes.
Interesting shift in tone from the first film.Humor mixed with some darker themes.Limited budget but decent practical effects.
