Picasso Affair is an interesting blend of action and comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The pacing feels a bit erratic at times, but it kind of works given Anton's chaotic life. Ian Ianev crafts a world where forgery and petty crime collide, and the atmosphere is a mix of sharp wit and unpredictable danger. Anton, played with a brash charm, is a character that you’re not quite sure whether to root for or laugh at. There's a certain rawness to the performances, and the practical effects during the heist scenes add a gritty feel. The dynamic with Sofia, the gangster, adds some nice tension and dark humor. Not your typical caper film, but it has its own unique flavor.
