The atmosphere is thick with doom and dread, punctuated by some solid practical effects that really set it apart from the CGI-heavy stuff. The zombified cult members have this raw, eerie presence. Sean Tigert as Jack Steele brings a sort of grizzled determination to the investigator role amidst the chaos.
