Police Story 4: First Strike is a real rollercoaster for fans of Jackie Chan. Directed by Stanley Tong, it blends action, comedy, and adventure with that classic Chan charm. The pacing is relentless; it starts off with high-octane chases and sets the tone early on. The stunts are top-notch, and you can really see Chan's dedication to practical effects, especially in the fight sequences. Plus, the setting spans various locations, adding a bit of globetrotting flair. There’s a nice mix of humor that balances out the intense action, which is something I appreciate in these films. Not every sequel lives up to its predecessors, but this one carves out a unique spot in the franchise.
