Post Human is pretty fascinating, especially for a 1995 Taiwanese production. The stop-motion animation is striking—there's a gritty charm to how the filmmakers used scrap metal to create these robots. It gives the whole film this raw, textured feel that you don't see much nowadays. The themes around nuclear energy and environmental protection are woven throughout, but it doesn't hit you over the head; it's more about the atmosphere and the story unfolding. The pacing has this contemplative rhythm to it, allowing you to really soak in the visuals and the ideas. John Lin's cinematography adds a layer of artistry that complements the narrative well. It's definitely a unique piece of animation history.
