Potter’s Mirror is definitely a head-scratcher, in a good way, you know? The animation has this surreal quality, feels almost like a dream but also a nightmare at times. It’s about this guy trying to escape his mind, and the visual storytelling really hits you with a mix of haunting imagery and vivid colors. The themes of life, death, and what it means to be human are explored in a way that’s both unsettling and thought-provoking. The pacing ebbs and flows, sometimes dragging you into dark alleys of contemplation. And while we don’t know the director, the effort in practical effects stands out, giving it a raw edge that feels refreshingly different in today’s CGI-heavy landscape.
Unique animation style with practical effects.Themes of mental struggle and existentialism.Surreal pacing that varies throughout the film.
