You can feel the oppressive atmosphere in the castle, like the walls are closing in. There are some solid performances, particularly from the actors portraying the king and queen. It's got these practical effects that are surprisingly effective, enhancing the storytelling without overwhelming it. Definitely something unique in the drama genre, but not for everyone, I guess.
