Psikopat from 2005 is this intriguing little horror piece that often flies under the radar. The film's atmosphere is intensely claustrophobic, especially in that old villa, which adds a layer of dread. You've got this mix of survival horror and psychological elements with Sandy, who's haunted by his past. It really dives into themes of trauma and revenge. The pacing, especially in the first half, builds tension nicely, only to let loose in the second act with some surprisingly visceral practical effects. The cast, while perhaps not super recognizable, delivers solid performances that keep you invested, even as the bodies start piling up. It's definitely one of those titles that sticks with you for its grim tone and unsettling premise.
