Pusaka is a haunting piece, really. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and it does that slow-burn horror thing pretty well. Inspector Nuar, played with a lot of intensity, stumbles upon these twins, Balqis and Qistina, who are all kinds of creepy β their connection to the supernatural is palpable. As Nuar digs deeper, the pacing tightens, building tension effectively. The practical effects have a raw quality that enhances the film's eerie vibe, making it all feel rather unsettling. The way the film explores themes of familial bonds and the weight of the past gives it a unique depth. Itβs not your standard jump-scare fest, but rather an unsettling journey that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll.
