So, 'Qualia' has this really interesting take on the dynamics of family and relationships, all wrapped in a comedy. Yuko Tanaka, played by a relatively unknown actress, navigates her life on a poultry farm with a sister-in-law who's just not warm and fuzzy. The performances are quite engaging, especially when Saki Watanabe, the mistress, shows up and shakes up the whole environment. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, which adds to the charm, I think. It feels like a blend of absurdity and reality, where the everyday challenges of rural life become comedic gold.
