Quick'n'Clean is this gritty little gem that dives into the tension of an ordinary day at a dry cleaner's, but things take a wild turn. Ria, the main character, is just trying to handle her job and, oh yeah, is pregnant. The atmosphere is thick with suspense as her boyfriend Lenny barges in with a suitcase that screams trouble. The pacing has this nice build-up, where everything seems mundane until it gets really intense, almost claustrophobic. The performances feel raw and authentic, especially Ria’s struggle with her impending motherhood and the choices she faces. It's got this low-budget charm, yet it hits hard with themes of risk and responsibility wrapped in a crime drama guise. Definitely an indie flick that leaves you thinking long after it ends.
