The performances, especially from the leads, are raw and unrefined, which lends an unsettling authenticity to their plight. What stands out here are the practical effects—gritty and visceral. The intertwining fates of the brother and sister add layers to the story, making it more than just a slasher. It's messy, but that’s part of its charm, if you ask me.
