Razor in the Flesh is a raw exploration of the lives of three marginalized characters trapped in a brothel room. You feel the weight of their stories—their struggles and desires play out in such a confined space. Neusa Sueli's portrayal of the prostitute is haunting, while Vado as the gigolo adds a layer of complexity to the dynamic. Veludo, the homosexual character, brings in another perspective that’s both poignant and revealing. The pacing is deliberate, allowing viewers to dwell in the uncomfortable yet intriguing atmosphere that permeates the film. Not a lot of glitz here, just gritty realism and deep character studies. It’s that kind of film that lingers with you, making you think about societal marginalization long after the credits roll.
