So, Reminiscence is a real trip. It’s got this deeply moody atmosphere that really hangs over you. The story, you know, centers around a detective in Toyama who's pulled back into a past he’d rather forget. The pacing, a bit slow but deliberate, really allows you to soak in the emotions. There’s a sense of nostalgia that permeates the film, especially with the themes around friendship and loss. It's not flashy with CGI or anything, but the practical effects are solid and add to the gritty realism. The performances, especially the lead, pull you into that pain and confusion. It feels intimate, like you’re right there with him wrestling with his demons.
Strong thematic elements of friendship and regret.Atmospheric cinematography enhances the emotional depth.Deliberate pacing invites introspection and connection.
