Restless Heart is one of those quiet films that lingers with you. It's set in a small town where the weight of expectation hangs heavy. Hugo, at 18, is stuck in a routine, working at a garage, and dating Betina. There’s an almost palpable sense of longing in his life—he's yearning for something bigger, something he can't quite grasp. The pacing is reflective, allowing us to really sit with Hugo’s internal struggles. Then enters Ester, a student nurse; her character brings an intriguing contrast to his mundane existence. The performances are raw and genuine, capturing that awkward phase of youth and the complexities of new relationships. It’s understated but rich in atmosphere, a slice of life that feels both familiar and deeply personal.
