Ride Scare is an interesting little indie horror thriller that dives deep into the mind of a disturbed ride share driver, Tommy. The atmosphere is thick with tension, and you can really feel the weight of Tommy's obsession as he picks up unsuspecting passengers. It's got a raw, gritty feel that captures the nighttime streets perfectly. The pacing is deliberate, allowing that creeping dread to build, especially when he meets Jolene – you can almost taste the tension. While it's not the most polished film out there, the practical effects are solid and the performances, especially from the lead, bring an unsettling authenticity to the twisted narrative. It's definitely one of those films that linger with you, for better or worse.
