Road Agent is one of those Westerns that sort of sneaks up on you with its cheeky plot. You've got Brand, this guy who's got a monopoly on the cattle route, jacking up prices like there's no tomorrow. Tim and Chito, our not-so-heroic protagonists, think they're just trying to reclaim their overcharge but end up with way more than they bargained for. The pacing has a nice rhythm—enough action to keep you engaged without feeling rushed. There’s a lightness to the dialogue that contrasts really well with the sometimes gritty backdrop. And the practical effects, while not groundbreaking, do add a certain charm to the whole experience. It's worth noting how the performances bring a kind of authenticity to the characters, making their misadventures feel relatable in a way.
