Room 205 is an interesting blend of tension and psychological horror, centered around a young woman's experience in a new dormitory. Katrine's move to Copenhagen is meant to be a new start, but her conflicts with the manipulative Sanne set the stage for something much darker. The film crafts a chilling atmosphere, enhanced by its practical effects that aren't overdone, keeping the viewer on edge without relying too heavily on CGI. There’s an almost claustrophobic feel to the dorm, and the pacing takes its time, allowing the dread to seep in gradually. The themes of betrayal and the supernatural are interwoven, making it not just about the scares but also about the personal struggles of these young women. It’s a unique piece, for sure.
