Rosewood Lane has a pretty eerie vibe – the kind that settles in your bones. The film plays on familiar horror themes, you know, the fear of the ordinary becoming sinister. Sonny Blake's return home is layered with nostalgia and dread, which resonates well. The pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, but it builds tension effectively, particularly around that creepy paperboy. The performances, especially from the lead, bring a certain authenticity that makes you invest in her unraveling sanity. Practical effects are decent, contributing to the unsettling atmosphere. There's something haunting about suburban life portrayed as a façade, and this film does a fair job of exploring that darkness beneath. Not groundbreaking, but distinct enough to remember.
