Rush Hour 2 picks up the buddy cop antics of Carter and Lee with that familiar blend of action and humor. The chemistry between Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan really stands out, their comic timing feels effortless. The pacing has a nice rhythm, bouncing from one action set-piece to the next without dragging. What's interesting is the way it balances the comic moments with the more serious crime elements, giving it that nice tonal mix. The Hong Kong backdrop adds a vibrant atmosphere that feels different from the first film. And let's not forget the practical effects—some of the stunts are impressive, especially considering the year it was made. It’s just a fun ride, perfect for a light rewatch.
