So, 'Rushlights' is one of those films that lingers in the shadows, you know? The atmosphere is thick with tension and unease, almost dripping with southern Gothic elements. The pacing has this slow burn that really draws you in, with oddball characters and subtle twists that keep you on edge. The performances are gritty, and you can feel the desperation simmering beneath the surface. It's distinct for how it intertwines crime, romance, and that haunting sense of dread. Not your typical road trip flick, that's for sure.
