Sabrina (1995) has this interesting blend of comedy, drama, and romance, pretty much driven by its star power. Harrison Ford plays Linus, the playboy, with that familiar charm, while Julia Ormond brings a fresh take to Sabrina, the chauffeur’s daughter. There's a kind of whimsical atmosphere, especially with the Paris backdrop and the whole coming-of-age angle. The pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, but that adds to its unique vibe. Sydney Pollack's direction brings an elegance that contrasts nicely with the comedic moments. And don’t overlook the supporting cast; they really flesh out the dynamics of class and love. Definitely not your typical rom-com fare.
Released on VHS and DVD; Blu-ray came later.Shot primarily in New York and Paris.Features a classic score by John Williams.Julia Ormond's debut role in a major film.
