Salaam Kashmir, directed by Joshiy, is an intriguing blend of action and drama that erupts from a seemingly serene domestic setting. Jayaram's portrayal of Sreekumar is particularly striking; he embodies a man navigating life with a heavy reliance on the domestic sphere, which is quite a departure from typical action heroes. Enter Tomy, played by Suresh Gopi, who upends this delicate balance. The pacing has its moments of tension interspersed with quieter, almost reflective scenes that characterize the domestic life Sreekumar is trying to maintain. There's a rawness to the performances, especially in their interactions, that really captures the conflict of traditional roles versus unexpected chaos. It’s a film that plays with themes of masculinity, duty, and the unexpected twists life throws your way.
Fascinating exploration of domestic roles.Strong performances by Jayaram and Suresh Gopi.Interesting pace with both action and reflective moments.
