So, SandBox from 2018, yeah? It’s an interesting exploration of grief, and the way the tech plays into it is pretty fascinating. The atmosphere is heavy, but in a thoughtful way, you know? The pacing is deliberate, allowing you to sink into the character’s emotional state. The performances, while understated, carry a lot of weight – you feel this woman’s struggle. And that virtual reality aspect? It's well done, mixing some practical effects with a clean aesthetic that doesn't overshadow the story. It sort of makes you think about how we use technology to escape our pain. Definitely has that indie feel, but there's something unique about its execution.
