So, Sandekala is one of those low-key horror films that really leans into its atmosphere. You’ve got this creeping sense of dread as the mother and daughter navigate eerie, empty alleys at dusk. The way the camera captures the dimming light is just something else, almost like the shadows are characters in their own right. What I found intriguing is the pacing; it feels almost languid but builds tension steadily, making each sound more pronounced. And while the practical effects aren't over the top, they create a sense of realism that heightens the fear. The performances are pretty grounded too, which draws you in and makes the unfolding terror feel all the more real. It’s definitely one of those films that gets under your skin.
