Sangham, released in '88, really captures a certain raw energy. It tells the story of Kuttapayi, this rich kid who's got everything but somehow drags his college buddies into his messy world. The pacing is a bit uneven but in a way that adds to the tension. You can feel the weight of Kuttapayi's past looming over them, especially in that remote estate where they think they're safe. It's a mix of action and drama that sometimes feels a little chaotic but in a way that's engaging. The performances have a certain grit, and the practical effects, while not groundbreaking, add a tangible quality to the action scenes. Definitely a film that lingers in the mind longer than expected.
Features a complex protagonist.Explores themes of friendship and betrayal.Interesting practical effects for its time.
