Seed of Chucky is a wild ride that leans heavily into dark comedy while still packing in the horror elements. Don Mancini really embraces the absurdity here, especially with Glen, who’s a mix of sweet and terrifying. The film's self-referential humor about Hollywood and the slasher genre adds a layer that feels pretty unique, even for this franchise. The practical effects are a standout, giving life to Chucky and Tiffany in a way that feels satisfyingly tactile. The pacing is a bit uneven, but it somehow works with the chaotic tone. You’ll either love it or find it a bit much, but it definitely doesn’t shy away from pushing boundaries.
