Sheep's Clothing is one of those indie horror flicks that sort of flies under the radar. The whole private eye angle lends a noir vibe to the werewolf mythos. I mean, who thinks a detective is gonna end up tailing a werewolf, right? The atmosphere is thick with tension, and the pacing gives you just enough time to soak in the dread before things get wild. The practical effects are decent for the budget—there's a rawness that adds to the charm. Performances are hit or miss, but there’s something engaging about how the characters unfold. It’s not your typical werewolf story, and that’s kinda what makes it distinctive. Plus, the DVD release, retitled The Lunar Pack, adds another layer of interest for collectors. Worth a look if you appreciate the quirks of early 2000s horror.
