Shikari, directed by Mohammed Hussain, is this curious blend of action, fantasy, and horror that's hard to categorize. The story kicks off with circus owners hunting down King Kong, which already sets a bizarre tone. But then they hit Kong Island and, surprise, there's another monster lurking around. It's a wild ride, really. You’ve got some practical effects that are definitely of their time, which adds an odd charm to the whole thing. Pacing can be a bit uneven, but that just adds to its quirky appeal. The performances have a certain earnestness that really pulls you in, even when the plot gets a little wacky. Overall, it’s an interesting piece that stands out for its unique premise and execution.
