So, Shit Happens is this intriguing blend of comedy and drama, you know? It's got that raw family vibe where everyone's just sort of trying to navigate their own issues. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but it kinda adds to the awkward tension among the Liefhebber family. The performances have a genuine feel; you can tell the actors are really diving into their characters' flaws and fears. And while the director is unknown, the film still manages to have a distinctive voice. It touches on themes of illness and interpersonal conflict, all wrapped in a somewhat humorous package. Not your run-of-the-mill family drama, that's for sure.
