Shower (2012), directed by Henry K. Norvalls, offers a mix of comedy and drama that’s both quirky and thought-provoking. It’s interesting how the pacing draws you in; you start with this mundane post-workout routine, and then, bam, you're caught in this web of unexpected events triggered by a mysterious noise. The atmosphere is intimate, almost claustrophobic, which mirrors the protagonist's state of mind as he navigates through the absurdity of his situation. The performances feel natural, grounding the film in reality, even as the narrative spirals into the surreal. There's a clever use of practical effects, too, that adds to the overall charm. It's definitely not your run-of-the-mill shower scene film. Worth a watch if you're into character-driven stories.
