Siege of Evil is one of those low-budget horror flicks that really leans into the whole EVP concept, and you can feel the chill in the air as Sarah Logan digs deeper into her haunted pursuits. The atmosphere? It’s thick, almost suffocating at times, especially when she uncovers those ominous voices post-visit to that old satanic church. The pacing has a nice build-up, where the tension creeps in slowly, making the eventual scares hit a bit harder. Practical effects are modest but effective, serving the film well without overdoing it. The performances, while not always stellar, have a raw quality that adds to the unsettling vibe—it's like watching a found footage piece, except it’s not. It has that DIY feel that’s appealing in its own right.
