So, 'Skalet' is an animation that kind of feels like it’s spinning a yarn in a dreamlike state. The visuals are really striking, almost surreal at times, which just pulls you into this bizarre yet fascinating world. The pacing is pretty deliberate, allowing the audience to soak in the atmosphere—there's a real sense of immersion. The themes seem to touch on identity and transformation, but I’d say it doesn’t lay everything out on the table, leaving you to ponder a bit, which is nice. I can't quite put my finger on the director, but the character designs are unique, almost haunting. Not your typical animated fare for sure, and that’s what gives it a certain charm.
