So, 'Skin Flick' is an interesting blend of adventure and animation, really pushing the boundaries of genre. The premise is quite wild—the lead, a porn actress, gets caught up in this dark underworld where she has to star in the Devil's snuff films for her beauty. The atmosphere is both eerie and surreal, you can feel the tension building as the story unfolds. Pacing is a bit off at times, which makes it feel almost dreamlike. The practical effects are surprisingly well done, especially for an indie project. The performances are a mixed bag, but the lead’s struggle between her duty and her emerging emotions adds a unique layer. It's not your typical animated fare, that's for sure.
