Skybound is a tense little thriller that plays with the claustrophobia of being trapped in the sky. The whole setup on that small plane keeps you feeling on edge, especially as the group realizes they’re cut off from the world below. Alex Tavakoli's direction really tightens the screws; you feel the rising panic as secrets unravel among friends. The stowaway character, Erik, adds a layer of paranoia that’s hard to shake off. It's interesting how the film balances the action with quieter moments, letting the audience breathe just enough before plunging back into chaos. The practical effects, especially in the flight sequences, lend a gritty realism that enhances the overall atmosphere. Solid performances round out the experience, making it distinctive in its own right.
