Sotiros is an intriguing little piece, really. At just 26 minutes, it takes its time, letting scenes breathe. The way it captures light in various settingsāhotels, cafĆ©s, the streetsāis both intimate and observational. You get a real sense of place, not just visually, but emotionally too. The alternating intertitles, 'He said' and 'he said,' create a rhythm that draws you in without forcing anything. It's almost like a poetic exploration of daily life in a couple of European localesāGreece and Austriaāwhere mundane moments become something more. There's no rush, just a gentle unfolding of scenes that linger long after the credits roll. A unique approach for a documentary, definitely not your typical format.
