So, there's this film called space//space from 2023, right? It's got this really tight, claustrophobic feel, which I think really works given the premise. Two brothers, stuck in a space capsule in their attic, and it’s all about that suffocating atmosphere. The pacing is deliberate, almost like you can feel the weight of their situation. Practical effects are used sparingly but effectively – they create a reality that pulls you in. The performances are raw and loaded with tension, you can sense their emotional struggle. Themes of isolation and sibling dynamics play out in such a unique way, making it distinctive within the sci-fi genre. Definitely a film that lingers long after it’s over.
