Squall is an interesting exploration of despair and connection. Set in a somewhat dimly lit hotel bar, the atmosphere feels heavy yet intimate, as two lost souls engage in deep conversation. The pacing meanders but allows for a genuine unfolding of their backstories. Itβs a character-driven piece, and the performances are quite raw β you can almost feel their pain and hope. There's a certain authenticity in the way the characters grapple with their issues, making you reflect on your own struggles. The lack of flashy effects keeps the focus on the dialogue and emotional performances, which I appreciate. It's a film that asks for your patience but rewards you with a resonant experience.
Deep character exploration.Strong performances, minimal effects.Atmospheric bar setting enhances themes.
