Stigmatized Properties manages to weave a strange tapestry of drama and horror. The lead, Yamano Yamame, is an interesting character—an entertainer down on his luck, drawn to a haunted property mainly for its cheap rent and the chance to boost his career. The pacing feels deliberate, almost languid at times, but it builds up an eerie atmosphere that lingers. The themes of isolation and desperation are palpable, especially in the way Yamame interacts with the dark history of the place. It’s also worth noting the practical effects, which, while not over-the-top, enhance the unsettling vibe. Performance-wise, Yamame's portrayal of internal struggle amidst external horrors is quite compelling, which adds depth to the narrative.
